The finca is in the término municipal of Genalguacil. The MA-8304 to Genalguacil leaves the MA-8305 between AlgatocĂn and Jubrique close to km8. A track off the MA-8304 brings you to the finca after 1.7km. Some of it is shared with neighbours and though mostly a dirt track, it is in reasonable repair - it ends at Seralgenal so there is no through traffic. The finca is just over 4kms (2.5 miles) from the village - far enough to be very quiet and secluded but just 10 minutes by car from the local amenities.
Seralgenal was originally part of a larger finca. On the second property there is an old house in immediate proximity to the buildings offered for sale, therefore you would have next door neighbours. There is a clause in the deeds of each of the two properties entailing joint responsibility for the upkeep of the 1 (one) kilometre of the shared Seralgenal track.
The finca measures four and a half hectares (. The land has organic registration (5650) with CAAE (comité andaluz de agricutura ecológica) It consists of woodland (some very old areas of oak, some pine), old citrus orchards, an arroyo with a seasonal stream which sometimes creates a beautiful series of waterfalls, a large area of vega (flat land by the river) and river frontage, including direct access to a natural pool for swimming. The river flows all year round, and is exceptionally clean.
It is hoped that the Genal valley, situated as it is between the protected areas of Los Reales de la Sierra Bermeja and the Parque Nacional de la Sierra de Grazalema will soon be designated as a natural park (parque natural)
